Abstract
This research determined the factors associated to the mental health state of the students in Congressional Integrated High School – Senior High School. Utilizing descriptive-correlational research design through the survey method, results reveal that sex is associated to the mental health state of the participants. Moreover, socializing through the different agents of socialization significantly improves the mental health state of the participants. The mental health state of the participants as well as the factors associated to it served as the variables in the study. It did not include the knowledge of the participants on mental health and their attitude towards people with mental health problems. The results of this study could serve as a basis in planning for a health promotion program essential in instilling among the students the importance of sustaining not only a fit body but also a healthy mind and soul.
